| I got a new job working at the FYE at Tuttle Mall. The people there are a total blast and I really missed working with music. I'm just not used to the whole corperate thing yet. Having a uniform and listening to what I'm told I have to is a little odd compared to the CD Warehouse days. It's still a lot of fun so drop by if you wanna!! | | |
| SLAYER TAUGHT ME A LESSON!!!!!
I found out the hard way that it is probably not a good idea to listen to Slayer in the car. I left for work and was listening to some bob Marley or something soft like that and I was just minding my own business, doing the regular 65 mph down the freeway, making sure I always use my turn signals, letting people cut in front of me with no repercussions. I started to get board so I popped in my fav. Slayer CD. ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! Before I know it I'm singing top of my lungs, banging on my steering wheel, doing 80 mph on the freeway thru DUBLIN. Dodging thru cars, no turn signal. I got to work, turn to car off and started to walk in when I realized that I had made it from the heart of Hilliard to Snoffer off of Sawmill in 8 MINS and never got pulled over! I guess I know what to do in the future if I'm ever running late! | | |
| Havin a hard time finding a house I like. I've been looking for a house to buy or rent, or a new apt with a yard. If you know of anything that might be nice and not so high priced drop me a line and let me know cause me, Charlie (my dog), and Amos (my car) are sick and tired of driving all over this city! Thanks a bunch! | | |
| I hope this never ends, even when my mind and body fails me I hope this never ends. I hope these people who have decided that it's okay to befriend everyone and anyone, even if you never used to talk to them because they wern't one of the "cool" kids, don't forget what it is to mindlessly have fun. I hope they don't fall victim to fashion and avoid this bastardized form of political correctness. Life to short to worry about your friends thinking your ridiculous because you hang out with some kid who doesn't like the same music, or clothes, or people that they do. If you have fun with them who gives a damn. When did people our age start worrying about who we were seen with in the mall or at a show. When did we start going to shows and parties just to say we were there. what does it matter if you went to a party or show you hated, to see peole you never liked in the first place, just so everyone knew you were there and not at home alone. I guess I just hope I always go the places I want because there are people there that I enjoy. I suppose that's all I can ask of myself.
